On January 30th, it’s fair to say we got the joint jumpin’ in Las Vegas with the unveiling of our new 2018 flooring introductions at Surfaces (our industry’s largest showcase of flooring products). For three days, it was standing room only in our booth as Mannington retailers clambered for their sneak peek and enthusiastically responded.
Now, here’s a glimpse of some of the gorgeous floors heading to Mannington retailers this Spring.
•Adura® Max Apex
By combining beautiful real wood looks with the incredible durability and performance of Adura® Max, everyone was buzzing about the newest addition to the Adura® Max family—Adura® Max Apex. Check out Chart House (one of six Adura® Max Apex designs) to see why.
Chart House goes all in on one of the hottest trends in home design—shiplap. Each 6 x 36 multi-length plank delivers the look of time-weathered rustic wood with an array of rabbet grooves, paint degradation and color contrast.
Like all Adura® Max floors, Chart House is crafted with Mannington’s exclusive HydroLoc® 100% waterproof core and ScratchResist™ surface protection which creates a surface so tough it wears away the ridges on a quarter. Thicker and more rigid than conventional vinyl, Adura® Max Apex floors also feature our premium Ultra-Quiet™ attached pad for superior sound reduction and greater comfort underfoot.
•Resilient and LVS
Heads also turned at the sight of our new sheet vinyl floors. Three new patterns join Mannington’s award-winning Revive® Collection that features updated spins on classic and vintage looks, including floors with highly decorative surfaces. The show-stopper was Tapestry, which is already creating quite a buzz.
A modern take on classic decorative tile, Revive® Tapestry (available in both resilient and LVS) features a unique ornamental design with whimsical floral accents in both neutral and bold color combinations.
Millcreek is one of two new patterns in Mannington’s popular LVS line-up. Inspired by reclaimed timber found in an old grain mill, this is a sophisticated modern look. It combines colorful pigment washes with a special fuming process for a floor with realistic wood grain and rich tonal variation authenticity.
Made in the USA, Mannington resilient and LVS floors take durability to a new level because they’re crafted with Mannington’s patented ScratchResist™ surface protection that helps keep floors looking newer longer by creating a surface so tough it wears away the ridges on a quarter. Eco-friendly, too, these floors are FloorScore® certified, contribute to credits for green building systems like LEED; and are made with ultra-low VOC water-based inks.
Mannington’s three new Restoration Collection floors deliver the beauty, comfort and stability of classics in updated ways. Palace Plank and Palace chevron offer two types from which to create a stunning custom look in any home.
With the resurgence of pattern being used in home interiors of all types, Palace Chevron’s time is now. Aptly named, this look dates back to 17th century France where the chevron pattern was found in palaces and homes of the nobility. Absolutely stunning in foyers, long hallways and great rooms, Palace Chevron can also be mixed with Palace Plank (another new look) to create a custom design because the colors and grain pattern for both coordinate seamlessly.
Made in the USA with over 70 percent post-industrial recycled content, and low-VOC inks/adhesives, Mannington’s Restoration Collection floors are the most durable and eco-friendly floors available, and crafted with our revolutionary SpillShield™ technology that delivers 72-hour protection from spills, standing moisture and pet messes.
Our five new hardwood floors draw inspiration from simpler, more leisurely times. With subdued, clean lines and warm colors, these floors are intended to relax the eye and create the foundation for interiors where solace -and style- can be found at the end of each day. Carriage Oak is just one of the stunning new products that will arrive at flooring retail stores this Spring.
Carriage Oak captures the essence of worn painted wood from vintage carriage houses but in an updated, contemporary color palette. Wire brushed and beautifully stained with a technique that creates a distinctive painted, weathered effect. Made in the USA and featured in both a plank and herringbone format. Available in three modern hues: Forged Iron, Haystack and Stable.
Mannington engineered hardwood floors are more dimensionally stable than a single piece of wood so they won’t buckle, gap, cup or twist and can be installed below grade and direct to concrete. They are also made with our patented ScratchResist™ surface protection that helps keep floors looking newer longer by creating a surface so tough it wears away the ridges on a quarter.
Before you know it, Spring will be here and so will these new floors. Get ready to rock your house with floors filled with style.
