Spring home improvement season is in full swing. Ready to swap your dated, worn floor for something more stylish? For inspiration, check out how these spaces have been transformed with new Mannington floors.
Before updating her family’s Minnesota home, Caitlin put together this terrific mood board to see how her favorite things would work together. She chose Arcadia laminate flooring which is filled with rustic warmth and distressed character. In her Instagram post, Caitlin writes, “We chose Arcadia in Bark (color) and love it!” Even the family feline agrees that Arcadia is…the cat’s meow.
For this Minnesota Parade of Homes showhouse, Derrick Custom Homes selected Mannington’s Maison Collection Bastille Walnut hardwoods (Tawny color). A rustic walnut floor with lots of character grain and color depth, Bastille is a classic European look that is stunning in an open floorplan such as this as its 7-foot long planks draw the eye across the large space.
Little did Design Floors know when they redid this dramatic staircase in Mountain View Hickory (Fawn color) hardwood flooring, they would deliver more than a beautiful touch of beautiful artisan hand scraped character and rich color to this home. They also started a style flurry on Pinterest like nothing we’ve experienced. Over 10,700 Pinterest followers have saved this photo to their inspiration boards, making it Mannington’s most pinned pic ever.
For this Illinois kitchen, Village Home Stores went with Adura® Country Oak luxury vinyl planks (Rawhide color). A weathered wood look with the characteristics of reclaimed wood from old barns, Country Oak has the added protection of Mannington ScratchResist™, a patented performance coating with aluminum oxide that keeps floors looking new longer by providing exceptional resistance to everyday household scratches. To cute canine Buoy, we say this—you and your new floor look dog-gone good.
Before and after photos like this really show what a new floor can do. For the bathroom in her family’s Pennsylvania home, Jennifer wanted a floor with a vintage feel. She picked Filigree (Iron color), a patterned resilient floor that resembles weathered, ornate metalwork. Jennifer says, “I searched for two years for flooring for our small bathroom. Our home is older so I wanted to stay as authentic as possible. I was so tickled to find this!”
For the master suite in his Pennsylvania home, Chris used hardwood flooring to create distinct living zones. First, he created a restful, yet intriguing, bedroom retreat with Smokehouse Hickory hardwoods in a warm Ember color. Planks were installed on the diagonal to visually elongate the space and draw the eye across it. In the sitting area, he wakes things up with a unique border “rug” fashioned with Smokehouse Hickory and Maison Provence (Champagne color) hardwood planks laid on the diagonal in a random stripe. While diverse by design, this master suite still has the feel of continuity because of how the colors and patterns have been repeated throughout.
