This spring, a new trend is taking shape as designers craft furnishings that blend form and fashion in unexpected ways. Inventive and inspiring, this look infuses interiors with shapely style from ceiling to floor.
At January’s Maison & Objet show in Paris (one of the world’s most prestigious interior design events), designers were all about decor distinguished by shape and fashioned in everything from warm wood and cool metal to posh porcelain and color-drunk art glass.
At Mannington, our designers had identified this emerging trend, too. Simultaneously to Maison & Object in Paris, we were stateside at Surfaces (the flooring industry’s largest annual showcase of new product) unveiling our interpretation. Here are some examples of our new flooring that takes shape stylishly serious.
Create a modern spin on herringbone with Adura® Meridian luxury vinyl flooring in two plank sizes (6″x18″ and 6 x48″) and a palette that resembles weathered concrete. Or choose from two tile sizes (16″x16″ and 12″x24″).
The fresh look of Mountain View Hickory hardwood flooring is derived from its mix of variable width planks (3 1/4″, 5″ and 6 1/2″). With this new format, homeowners can easily create a look uniquely their own.
A 1920’s throwback design, Penny Lane -part of Mannington’s Centennial Collection- delivers a small-scale marble hexagon look (with contrasting insets) in easy-care resilient flooring.
These floors will arrive at Mannington dealers this spring, which means your floors can take shape in stylish new ways very soon.
