While eating better and exercising more will likely always be popular resolutions, so should making homes a more beautiful, comfortable place to live for ourselves and our families. Adding hardwood flooring will not only do that, it’s a proven way to increase home value and resale.

“Before any new floor goes to market we do months of research to make sure we’re giving people what they want both from a style and a color perspective,” says Joe Amato, Vice President of Residential Styling at Mannington. “Mannington’s line of hardwood flooring offers a wide range of looks to suit any taste – from traditional to contemporary, rustic to exotic. Featuring a new color palette in cool grey tones that complement today’s decorating styles, there’s something for everyone,”
Mannington hardwood floors are engineered hardwoods, which offer offers distinct advantages over other types of hardwoods. Engineered hardwood flooring construction is far stronger than a single piece of solid wood and is more structurally sound. It won’t buckle, gap, cup or twist and can also be installed below grade and direct to concrete (solid wood floors cannot). Our engineered wood floors are also eco-friendly. They use half as many trees as solid wood floors and faster-growing renewable wood is used for inner piles. Mannington factories are FCS® Chain of Custody certified and all meet – or exceed – the formaldehyde levels set forth in CARB phases I and II (the most stringent emission laws in the world; plus only no VOC water-based finished are used.
Hardwood flooring is clearly a smart investment, both short and long-term, so add it to your New Year’s resolution list. We offer a wide range of hardwood flooring in many wood species, patterns, colors and texture. Here are four, in particular, that’ll help you step out in style in the new year (and beyond!):
The distinctive white-washed finish of Inverness Stonehenge walnut flooring brings out the sophisticated, urban feel of the woods. It’s brought to life with hand-planed details, glazed edges and dry-brushed accents.
Maison Versailles maple flooring brings a popular European look statewide with 7″ wide planks at up to 7 feet long. These hearty Northern maple planks are exquisitely detailed with hand-staining, smooth graining and subtle hand-worked edging.
Global style comes home to roost in Mayan Pecan flooring. The hand-crafting of this exotic wood species (copaiba) includes a soft scrape, dramatic graining, tight knot holes and a unique staining process that yields board-to-board variations and real visual depth within each board.
